Mike Stanton

Director (BCom, CFM)

Mike has over twenty years experience in banking and corporate advisory services gained with Citicorp and Nomura among other appointments in New Zealand and Europe. In London he was responsible for working with large corporations which actively explored major business development opportunities and debt restructurings.

In 1993, Mike was appointed by the British Government Overseas Development Agency as an adviser providing guidance on the restructuring of a Polish state owned bank. As part of this work Mike advised a range of companies on their financial structure and management and assisted with the establishment of an investment fund for restructured companies. Mike developed and managed his own business interests back in New Zealand for several years, before joining Cranleigh in a full time capacity.

Mike advises on a range of projects including business case development, acquisitions and divestments, financing and public private partnerships. His key interests are strategic planning, project management, infrastructure development and negotiations.
